To allow the lens to be paired with bodies of very diverse sizes, a tripod collar (sold separately) is available. By avoiding any mechanical constraint on the body, it allows the user to photograph with complete peace of mind. This tripod collar comes with a strap that also reduces the stress exerted on the mount during shooting or transport.
