The SIGMA 60-600mm F4.5-6.3 DG DN OS | Sports is a 10x ultra-telephoto zoom lens for Full-Frame mirrorless cameras, covering a 60-600mm zoom range available exclusively from SIGMA. It allows photographers to seamlessly capture everything from close-up subjects to distant scenes without changing lenses, even in demanding situations such as air shows or professional sporting events.

SIGMA has employed the latest optical technologies to effectively correct chromatic aberrations that commonly occur in ultra-telephoto lenses by using a variety of premium materials, including FLD and SLD glass elements. The minimum focusing distance is 45cm at the 60mm setting, while at the 200mm focal length the lens offers a maximum magnification ratio of 1:2.4, allowing photographers to enjoy telephoto macro shooting and adding even greater versatility.

This high-output linear motor, combined with advanced electronic control, delivers exceptionally fast, accurate, and virtually silent autofocus performance. It also provides outstanding subject tracking, ensuring that decisive moments are never missed in sports photography or any other situation involving moving subjects, from racing vehicles to birds in flight.

Next-generation "OS2" Optical Stabilization algorithm with up to 7 stops of compensation.

The Optical Stabilizer (OS) system incorporates SIGMA's newly developed "OS2" algorithm. This advanced algorithm significantly improves image stabilization performance, providing up to 7 stops of compensation at 60mm and 6 stops at the telephoto end. As a result, photographers can capture dynamic, impactful images while maintaining a strong sense of motion.

The lens features two Optical Stabilizer modes. Mode 1 is suitable for general photography, while Mode 2 is optimized for panning shots, such as motorsports and other fast-moving subjects. In Mode 2, an acceleration sensor works together with SIGMA's Intelligent OS and a specially designed panning algorithm to provide effective image stabilization even when the camera is moved vertically or diagonally, regardless of the lens orientation. This allows subject movement to be captured naturally while preserving the desired panning effect.

The lens features a multi-material construction that optimally combines magnesium, CFRP*1, and TSC*2 according to the specific characteristics of each material. As a result, it is lighter than previous models while maintaining the same level of durability, making it highly versatile across a wide range of shooting applications.

The lens features SIGMA's Dual Action Zoom system, allowing users to operate the zoom either by rotating the zoom ring or by directly pushing and pulling the front of the lens. This provides both precise and rapid zoom operation to suit any shooting situation.

Dust- and splash-resistant construction for dependable performance in challenging environments.

The lens mount, manual focus ring, zoom ring, switches, sliders, and external joints are all designed with dust- and splash-resistant seals* to help prevent dust and moisture from entering the lens. In addition, the front element features a water- and oil-repellent coating, making it easier to clean when exposed to water droplets or dust.

*Although designed to be dust- and splash-resistant, the lens is not waterproof. Avoid exposing the lens to excessive amounts of water, as moisture entering the lens may cause severe damage and could render it irreparable.

Equipped with a Focus Limiter switch, the lens allows users to restrict the autofocus operating range whenever needed, enabling faster and more precise focusing.

In addition, the lens includes three AFL buttons* that can be assigned to various functions through compatible cameras. These buttons remain easily accessible regardless of camera orientation or shooting configuration.

Interchangeable tripod mount.

The lens incorporates an Arca-Swiss compatible magnesium alloy tripod foot. The foot can be removed and replaced with optional alternative tripod feet (sold separately) or used to mount the lens to a monopod, offering greater flexibility for a wide variety of shooting styles and applications.
