Hybrid Digital Capture and Instant Print

The camera is built around a 1/5"-type CMOS sensor with an effective resolution of 4.9 megapixels, producing 2560 x 1920 pixel JPEG images in a 4:3 aspect ratio. Because it is a hybrid model, the same device that captures the image also prints it onto INSTAX MINI film, eliminating the need to carry a separate printer. The built-in flash provides an effective range of 1.6 to 4.9' / 0.5 to 1.5 m, helping to illuminate subjects in close-range shooting situations.

28mm Lens and Close Focus Capability

The fixed 28mm lens offers a maximum aperture of f/2, which helps gather light in a variety of conditions. Its focus range extends from 3.94" / 10.01 cm to infinity, allowing you to move in very close to your subject for detailed close-up shots while still being able to focus on distant scenes. This close-focusing ability is particularly useful when composing images that will be reproduced in the small INSTAX MINI print format.
