Les Amis du Jardin Botanique
Since 1975, Les Amis du Jardin botanique de Montréal (Friends of the Montreal Botanical Garden) has been working to share knowledge about botany and horticulture with the general public.
Their objectives
Promote scientific culture by sharing knowledge in the fields of botany and horticulture;
Raise awareness and promote native flora to mobilize the public around nature conservation issues;
Showcase the Botanical Garden's plant collections and the research of the Institute for Research in Plant Biology (IRBV);
Facilitate citizen involvement by offering volunteer contributions to the achievements of the Botanical Garden and the IRBV.
